IEP Advocacy & Educational Support

BCBA-led guidance to help you understand your child’s IEP, prepare for meetings, and navigate their educational needs with confidence.

What’s Included

Navigating special education services can feel overwhelming. Coast & Compass provides private-pay support to help families better understand their child’s educational needs and feel more prepared to advocate for them.

I support families at every stage, from initial evaluations and eligibility questions to existing IEPs and 504 plans.

IEP & 504 Plan Review

A careful review of your child’s IEP or 504 plan, including accommodations and supports, to help you understand what’s in place and how it supports your child’s needs.

Meeting Preparation & Support

Help identifying concerns and priorities and developing questions and goals for school meetings. At your request, I can also attend meetings alongside your family.

Educational Record & Evaluation Review

A review of your child’s educational records, evaluations, and school documentation to help build a clear picture of their needs and progress.

Guidance Through the Process

Individualized guidance from initial evaluations and eligibility questions through existing IEPs, including behavioral, communication, social, and independence needs within the school environment.

Meeting Support

At your request, I can attend IEP meetings alongside your family, with a level of support we decide on together in advance. I attend meetings in person on the South Shore of Massachusetts and by video conference, so families outside the area are welcome to reach out.

Why Work With a BCBA

My approach centers on seeing the whole child, not just the behaviors or skills being worked on. Throughout my career, I have developed and overseen individualized treatment plans and collaborated closely with families and other members of a child’s care team. I bring that same individualized, collaborative approach to supporting families through the IEP process.

An Individualized Approach

Every family’s needs are different, so support is shaped around where you are in the process and what you need most.

The goal isn’t to tell families what their child’s education should look like. It’s to help parents feel informed, prepared, and confident as they advocate for their child.

Pricing

IEP Advocacy & Educational Support is offered as a private-pay service, billed hourly.
